A Block: In this Very Special Conflict Edition™️, John reminds Brad of a specific monetary debt, then gets into John’s Top 3 local stories from johncombest.com: a school screen time bill from Rep. Tricia Byrnes; MoDOT updates on local projects in St. Charles County; and data center meeting logistics. John again reminds Brad of a certain debt, and Brad deflects with his zillionth retelling of a Xerox reverse-engineering story.

B Block: Brad’s Top 3: Railway Exchange Building demolition, Lambert Airport terminal costs, and MLB games on television/streaming. John praises Brad’s magnanimous 2025 effort to help KBDZ, and Brad ignores the compliment to offer Brad’s Greatest Hits on “rising tides,” Todd Showalter, Jeff Allen, etc. Unprompted, Brad gets defensive about his lack of productive effort, foreshadowing his C block crashout.

C Block: Brad offers up exaggerated efforting metrics and gets defensive about being held accountable by John. John asks a direct question, Brad deflects. John repeats the question, Brad deflects again. Brad redirects his anger toward two radio station operators – The Viper’s Brian Richardson and Real Talk 93.3’s Tracy Ellis – then John notes Brad’s stock photo fake testimonials. Brad crashes out and says John will eventually work “the drive-thru at Wendy’s,” then Brad compares himself to Elon Musk and Gary Vaynerchuk. Megalomania, table for one!
